With roots as Israel's first university-focused venture fund in 2016, we've evolved to become one of the largest and most active pre-seed investors in the country.

In Memory of Zaki Djemal (1987-2026)

Fresh Fund was co-founded by Zaki Djemal, who passed away unexpectedly in March, 2026, at the age of 38. Zaki was a rare human being whose vision, kindness and humility shaped who we are, what we do and the way we do things. We still feel the shock of losing him, and we're committed to carrying his unique energy and optimism forward in everything we do.

His partner, family and close friends have set up a foundation, Zaki Fund, in his memory, to continue the spirit and values that shaped his life.
